OUR STORY
It all started with a summer job
The current owner, Pierjean Savard, entered the world of containers through a neighbor entrepreneur who offered him a summer job when he was in high school. Since then, he has never been out of the industry. In 2002, he left his first employer to found Conteneurs Experts with his partner Simon Dagenais.
In the early days, the company rented and sold containers, then, little by little, the transformation of the containers grew. Today, it sells more than 1,000 containers a year and transforms 250 additional units.

Need Space
In 2004, the company rented its first office with a yard to store its containers in Lachine. It is in this same yard that the first containers will be transformed. In 2004, the company now has 4 employees.
We are going West
The year 2007 marks the arrival of the company in Vaudreuil-Dorion. Determined to grow the transformation of containers, the company hires its first production employees (welders), who work outside, as at the start of Pierjean Savard's career.
First building
In 2009, two years after working in a construction trailer, the whole team is very happy to enter its new facilities. The company now has a 6,000 square foot factory. According to its managers “We have too much production space…”
Finally an owner
In 2012, C.E. acquired the land adjacent to its plant. In 2014, the lease ends and the company built its new plant. Soon, the production space had become too small, so the new plant will have a production floor of 10,000 square feet. “We will be good for 10 years…”
Ovation
Following the construction of its new facilities, C.E. decided to participate in the Ovation competition in Vaudreuil-Soulanges in the manufacturing category. The submitted project is the very innovative construction and manufacturing of C.E. offices which are made from containers. The company wins in this category and the Ovation grand prize of the year. These awards will make the company known very quickly in the region.
Certification Employeur Remarquable
In March 2018, Conteneurs Experts was certified Remarkable Employer by the Bureau de normalization du Québec. Pierjean Savard, president of the company, “For several years, I had been looking for a way to identify areas for improvement in my company regarding the mobilization of our employees, our internal practices and our productivity. Retirement of one of our founders
The year 2019 marks the retirement of one of the two founders. Pierjean Savard becomes the sole owner following the acquisition of Mr. Dagenais' shares.
Expansion of the production plant
Conteneurs Experts is very proud to announce that we are expanding our production facility this fall. As a result, we will double our production area by adding 7,000 sq.ft
The addition of the 7,000 sq. ft. announced today will allow us to reduce delivery times by 30% to 50%, se we can take new orders. Our goal is obviously to continue our development, to get more orders, but first we had to make sure we had the capacity to do so.

CSA A277 certification
Only in Quebec in the transformation of container to obtain the certification of the standard CSA A277 - electrical, covers the procedure of certification of the prefabricated houses, including those of the modified containers.
It includes certification and verification of the factory quality program, certification of the manufactured product and factory inspection of the manufactured product.
